In 1993, Bob was approached by White Wolf Game studios to write novels based on their popular game system, Vampire: the Masquerade. The stories take place in a world very much like our own, but darker and grimmer and secretly controlled by a race of ancient vampires known as the Kindred. These three novels are currently out of print but can be found from many dealers handling rare SF and fantasy novels. All three novels have been translated into French, German, Spanish, and Hungarian. Ten years after their publication, Bob still receives fan mail about these books from readers all over the world.
