First Fandom is a group of Science Fiction readers and collectors who were active in the 1930s, the early days of fandom. The organzation also includes a number of associate members, fans and writers who have the same interests in early science fiction. Each year, First Fandom awards a prominent collector of rare science fiction its Sam Moskowitz Award for Excellence in Collecting. Bob is very proud to have won this award in 2001.
